Routered/Sandblasted

Routered & Sandblasted signs are both ways to have a 3-d signs with either raised letters, borders, logos or backgrounds. The difference between Routered & Sandblasted signs is the texture of the material that is taken away. Sanblasted tends to have a sandy type textured background, whereas Routered backgrounds can have a smooth, wood grain, or special decorative bit background. Our Routered/Sandblasted Signs can be made from High Density Urethane Foam (HDU) or Wood. They are usually made out of 1.5" thick HDU then hand painted. If you want a 2 sided routered or sandblasted sign, we use 2" thick HDU unless otherwise specified. They are finished with either paint, stain & or vinyl graphics depending on your sign design.

These signs are made out of different thicknesses of different materials depending on your Sign Design.

Individual Letters

There are a few ways to order Individual Letters. Usually you can Router most larger letters and logos, but for smaller and more precise points, you made need to have them laser or water cut OR Cast Metal or Plastic. All of these can be made from different materials, such as Wood, HDU (like wood), Sintra (a hard plastic that comes in an array of colors, or Steel, aluminum or plastic. Depending on the design and material you'd like to use, usually determines the method of production.

Cast Letters can also be ordered at different depths and sizes as well as different materials like Aluminum, Steel or Plastic. They can be finished with a colored baked Enamel (more plastic & shiny look) or powdercoated with a number of different finishes.

Of course you can order any size and any material you please. Please contact us to get a quote & note the size you'd like your letters or sign, quantity, Material, # of Colors & if you have artwork ready for production (a vector file either eps or pdf OR a high resolution (150 dpi at full scale)) please attach this as this effects the price for a set up fee.
